The G&P Foundation for Cancer Research was created in 1996 by mother, Denise Rich, sisters Ilona and Daniella and husband Philip Aouad in memory of their beloved Gabrielle Rich Aouad, who passed away at the age of 27 after a long and valiant struggle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML).
The mission of The G&P Foundation is to fund basic and clinical medical research in both conventional and integrative disciplines which focus on prevention, treatment and quality of life issues of leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers.
To date, the Foundation has awarded over $6.4 million in Medical Research Awards to thirty-one of the country's most promising junior investigators. The G&P Foundation proudly continues its distinction of being one of the largest non-governmental sources of grant support to blood cancer researchers at the nation's leading institutions. We remain committed to funding research until a cure is found. |
